Multiple Choice

The Assistant Gunner's Display provides a menu driven interface between the DFCS and the Section Chief.

In this setup, the functions of the DFCS consoles are split among the gun crew, with the Assistant Gunner using a display to input and monitor ballistic data. It is not intended to serve as a bridge or menu-driven link directly between the DFCS and the Section Chief. The Section Chief relies on information relayed through the Gun Chief, Gunner, and Fire Direction Center, not via the Assistant Gunner’s Display as a primary interface. So the statement is not correct because the Assistant Gunner’s Display is for assisting with DFCS operation, while the direct interface between DFCS and the Section Chief isn’t through that display.
